About us
Based in the heart of South Liverpool, FireFit Youth and Community Hub first opened its doors in 2012, following a £5.2 million transformation of the former Toxteth Sports Centre. Since then, it has become a vibrant hub and safe space where young people and the wider community can build skills, confidence, and connections.
At FireFit Hub, young people feel a true sense of belonging.

In 2017, FireFit became part of Torus Foundation, strengthening our role as a cornerstone of the charity’s work in Liverpool. At the heart of FireFit is our commitment to delivering high-quality youth work, guided by our Youth Outcomes Framework.
We shape our programmes with input from young people, making sure they're inclusive and meet their needs. Through open sessions, focused projects, and opportunities for youth feedback, we build strong positive relationships that help young people explore their interests, build resilience, and achieve their goals.
Our services combine youth work, sports, fitness, creative programmes, targeted interventions and community activities, all designed in collaboration with our members and partners. This ensures that FireFit continues to inspire, empower, and remove barriers so that every young person has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
I love Youth Voice because it gives young people like me the chance to be heard and taken seriously.

It gives you a warm feeling inside, just to know, that we're making a difference to children's lives.
