Five years of impact: Vaillant and Torus Foundation Social Value Partnership

Since 2019, Vaillant and Torus Foundation have established a successful social value partnership, creating opportunities for young people living in Merseyside.

Through Vaillant’s per-boiler donation model, £25,818 has been invested into frontline services at FireFit Youth and Community Hub in Toxteth, Liverpool. This investment has not only helped ease immediate financial hardships for many but has also created a lasting impact for thousands of young people.

Over 5 years, significant impacts have been achieved, with the partnership evolving to meet the changing needs of young people and families.

Improving youth zones

Thanks to Vaillant’s most recent donation of £6,075, we have been able to kick-start a new fundraising campaign, to create 3 new spaces at FireFit Youth and Community Hub during 2025:

  • Arts room: A dedicated space for young people to engage in art and drama activities, fostering creativity and self-expression
  • Creative media room: Equipped with the latest technology, this room will empower young people to learn new skills in digital media
  • Sensory room: Designed to support young people with neurodivergences, this peaceful and confidential space will allow us to deliver targeted one-to-one youth work and provide a calming environment for those who need it.

These new spaces are part of FireFit's ongoing commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment where young people can thrive.

Shared vision, shared values

Vaillant and Torus Foundation are united by a shared commitment: strengthening communities and improving lives through sustainable, practical action.

Together, this partnership has achieved tangible outcomes, empowering young people, improving food security, and building resilience in communities.
