School Holiday Programme

Our school holiday programme takes place every half-term and summer break for both our Junior and Senior members. Our timetable varies to offer daytime activities, as well as trips off site. We’ve previously had trips to The Climbing Hangar, Eureka! Museum and Alton Towers.

During the summer break this year, our Holiday Programme ran across four themed weeks packed with excitement, creativity, and adventure! Each week brought something new, with themes focused on Nature, STEM, Water, and Challenges. We engaged young people aged 6–19 in everything from sports and science to creativity and team challenges, giving them the chance to explore their interests and build new skills. Every Friday, we wrapped up the week with a themed Adventure Friday trip, taking the fun beyond the centre and creating unforgettable summer memories. It was a brilliant few weeks of energy, friendship, and growth for everyone involved!

Please note that membership is required to book onto our holiday programmes and trips.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For Little Juniors and Juniors please call our reception team to book on for each day you would like them to attend.
  • For Seniors they can come on the day and sign in with our reception team.
  • If you are looking for a specific session, please feel free to speak to any team member who will show you the way.

  • We always have any allergens noted down at the food collection point. However, if you feel more comfortable bringing a packed lunch, please feel free.

This will vary depending on the age group:

  • Little Juniors: 1:30pm on Thursdays
  • Juniors: Registration closes at 1:00pm on weekdays and 12:30pm on Saturdays
  • Seniors: Young people can come and go throughout the evening; however, we encourage attendance to at least one full session each evening.

  • We encourage all young people to wear clothing they can move in and don’t mind getting dirty.
  • If your young person is attending a sports club, please ensure they bring:
    • Closed trainers for the sports hall and gym
    • Football boots for the outdoor 3G pitches
  • While plastic cups are available, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle – it’s better for the environment!

  • At Fire Fit Hub, safeguarding is a top priority. For this reason, parents and carers are not permitted past reception while young people are in sessions (unless a meeting has been pre-arranged).
  • If you are collecting your young person, please arrive on time. This helps prevent young people mixing with older Fire Fit members or being left waiting after the centre closes.
  • We understand that delays can happen. If you are running late, please call us on 0300 123 5809 to let us know.
